Monday, May 12, 2008 at 09:48 AMI have had chronic migraine and cluster headaches for 19 years--cannot begin to tell you the drugs that I have been through. The ones that have any effect at all I have been at maximum dosage and then the major side effects kick in. I have been using only pain relief for years and it keeps me sane and able to get through life. You need to find a doctor who will give it to you (I know its hard) but vicodin has been a life saver for me for years. I have started to take more(of course) as its effects start to grow thin, and I have talked to my doctor about the next step. Most doctors think pain relief only for rescue, but they don't understand that everyday is rescue, we need to try to have a life and not constantly in pain or thinking about it. This is first time I have ever done his and it feels pretty good to share it, and see that there are many others like me.
