My migraines have become unbearable in the last four years and I had to resort to taking a daily preventative medicine. After trying a few, I'm now taking a daily dose of Zonegran with some success, but have notice a new set of symptoms after a migraine attack and was wondering if anyone had any advice.

I usually take Zomig (sometimes Relpax) with an Ultram or Fiorcet at the onset of a migraine and then try to sleep for an hour or more. Lately, I've found that I am completely lethargic for the rest of the day after the migraine has passed. I'm confused, at a loss for words, a little sad and basically unable to function, but not because of the migraine. This has become just as frustrating as having the migraine in the first place!

Any thoughts? Until the last month, I was experiencing 3-4 migraine days a week and am now down to 1 or 2 days a week.
