About Me

Single Mom of 2 boys, ages 21 and 12 yrs old; working full-time, school part-time, soccer mom for over 18 yrs. Suffered from migraines for many years without knowing what it was until I finally found a doc that told me this is what I suffer from. I have a chronic disease according to my family phsycian and am on FMLA and the hours are there when needed. I use to miss a lot of work now I am don't (usually until recently) read my blog to understand. I own my home, have a cat and love life as much as i can. I feel like sometimes the migraines take over my life and make it difficult for me to function and enjoy doing things with my children. My children have lived with me like this and are fully supportive when needed (i.e. get me ice from the store, ck on me when I am out for the count, take me to the doctor's for a shot which is my LAST resort, and basically anything else they know I will need or take care of themselves). I use to get a migraine at least 2 times a week and missed lots of work for it. But now like I said I am better than I was.
