I am a 30 year old woman. I have had migraines since I can remember. OH and how does it suck..let me count the ways. I have over the years taken many medications, home remedys, and holistic treatment...though I've never tried feverfew. I have three kids now and I have begun to notice that look in my six year olds eyes....we all know it. But, no matter how it sucks..you can live with it. You just learn to avoid certin places and things, and always take your meds before you go. No one except a true migraine sufferer knows what it's truly like, though they do try to understand. The more we talk about it to those around us the better it get and the more understanding the relationship becomes. SO HANG IN THERE.....YOU ARE NOT ALONE....THERE ARE MANY OF US AND WE CAN SEE THAT LOOK IN YOUR FACE WHEN THE HEADACHE COMES. Others will understand just have a serious talk with them. Most of the time all they want to do is help.

Hello, and welcome to MyMigraineConnection.com!
We're so happy you've found our wonderful site full of support and information about Migraine disease and headache disorders. What's nice about this site is people "get it." We don't have to explain over and over again why we are in pain and what we are doing about it.
Speaking of which, we have Migraine and Headache Education for Those Who "Don't Get It" you may want to print out from time to time and pass around. Sometimes is helps, other times, not so much!
We have a very important article up everyone needs to read - Yes, Migraine can cause brain damage. Not something we want to hear about, but certainly something we need to take care of. Migraineurs who have a long history and/or frequency with Migraine attacks have an increased risk of "silent" brain damage, or brain damage without any symptoms.
Thank you for creating a SharePost. SharePosts are a form of blogging, and there are many things you can do with them. You can share an experience, suggest something that's helped you, use SharePosts as a Migraine and headache journal, and many other things.
We also have a discussion forum that you may want to check out. Especially if you have questions or are looking for information, you may find the interaction on the forum to be quite helpful. To get to the forum, just look for the orange box marked "Manage" and click on the Migraine Forums link. Because our forums are maintained by a third party, you'll need to register for the forum. You can use the same information you used to create your community log-in if you like. If you want to go directly to the forum, you can click HERE.
Along with your personal "My Home" page and the discussion forum, you'll find links to a great deal of helpful information and a spot to sign up for our free newsletter on the main page of our site, http://www.MyMigraineConnection.com.
