thought's about feverfew

By miss_moriah Thursday, September 18, 2008

I have been on so many different medications over the years. I have recently found one that works most of the time. I was just wondering if anyone has tried feverfew. I was wondering if it would work on my little headaches that come after my migraines.

Feverfew is a supplement used by some for Migraine prevention. It is important to note that feverfew, as with any "natural" dietary supplement is a drug and can interact with other medications. It is imperative to have a dicussion before taking these with your doctor.

Also of importance is that women who are thinking about becoming or are pregnant

are not to use feverfew for the risk of miscarriage.

Did you know there are over 100 medications used to treat Migraine disease? Don't give up hope just yet. Continue reading for more information on preventive medications: Migraine Preventive Medications - Too Many Options To Give Up!

If you suffer from ragweed allergies, you should be careful about the feverfew, because it comes from the ragweed family.
