Hi,
Does anyone have any answers or had a similar experience? 6 years ago after having a hysterectomy, when her period would've been due, mum would have a "wuzzy head". She would have a slight tingling sensation on the side of her face. She goes into a trance like state for a few minutes and just sits there looking at us, not knowing who we are. She doesnt say anything, just sits, holding her hands. (the lights are on but no ones home type of thing) This lasts for a few minutes. When she comes round, she doesnt remember whats happened. This can happen up to 8 times a day, (usually about 3 or 4) but leaves her totally exhausted for the day and very pale looking. She's had brain scans, mri scans, epilepsy tests, all coming back clear. Her doctor thinks she should be left alone as it should "sort itself out". She had hormone tests, which said her estrogen levels were very deficiant. It has been suggested that mum may have "migraine triggered seizures". We passed this to her doctor a year ago, but he's not too sure what to do. Can anyone help or offer advice please?
Many thanks, Tina.
