By M Thursday, September 11, 2008

I have been living with Migrainmes for 10 + yrs! - I now have small daily headaches and never know when they will turn into a Migraine by the afternoon.  I woke up yesterday am with one of these "small" headaches, went to the Gym and 30 minutres later had an ice pick in my left eye.  - I came home and slept for 3 hrs.  I take Zomig Nasal Spray which normally helps but I had to take 2 yeasterday with Norco.  I'm really tired of these - Can anybody help?

P.S> - I have 2 kids and need to function as best as I can.....

Thanks,

M

Hello, and welcome to MyMigraineConnection.com!

There is recent information stressing the importance of reducing the number of Migraines we have. Recurrent Migraine attacks and/or  people with a long history of Migraines seem to be at an increased risk for brain damamge - silent brain damage - with no noticable  symptoms. Yes, Migraines Can Cause Brain Damage is not meant to alarm people, but help them understand how important a Migraine prevention plan is.

Norco - or hydrocodone- a medication taken more than two to three days a week can create a problem called Medication Overuse Headache, MOH. Medication Overuse Headache - When the Remedy Backfires. If we have MOH a preventive drug will not work.

We have an Ask the Clincian question on Exertion headaches you can find HERE. This may help you with your exercise question.
