Over the years I have taken the muscle relaxant Orphenadrine primarily for low-back issues. Tonight I had some loose meds around & when I searched, found that it has use in the migraine world. Several sites list the following: "in many cases Orphenadrine is helpful against migraine and cluster headaches." So this explains some of the relief I had been receiving while taking it & having a particularly bad migraine attake.
However, reading further, it is a derivative of diphenhydramine (benadryl) so is also effective in counteracting allergic reactions from other medication.

Hi Chris,
While I'm glad to hear you are getting a bit of relief, I'm pretty sure that Norflex is not a derivative of diphenhydramine. I have the FDA label information for it in this link ORPHENADRINE.
Having said that, Norflex is used for many different conditions depending on what the doctor has prescribed it for one of which is Migraine and headache disorders.
I hope this helps,
Nancy
