Hired a good lawyer today, and he helped me with the paperwork and get ready for judicial hearing stage of my bid for SSDI.
Then had an appt with my neurologist who is willing to fill out the form from my lawyer about my disabilities he takes care of.
My doctor will also sign the forms that will help me get free Imitrex and Topamax. I just have to fill the forms and give it to him to sign. He is very accommodating.
As of Dec 1 we will no longer have insurance. My thoughts are since we have to pay so much with co-pays and deductibles with prescriptions and doctor bills, it's cheaper to get on the free prescription program and just pay our doctor bills which are less than the insurnace premium.
We have no income at all now so I think it will work fine.
Have my first appt with a family doctor Thursday. She's out of state but my husband has been going to her for some time, and she has been a good listener and treated him well. She's next on my list for filling out the form even though this will be the first appt I've had with her.
I've met her before when hubby had an appt with her. We got along great then.
So things are looking up!
