I WON!!!

I WON my SSDI case!

Now I have to wait for the letter that tells me what my backpay is and my monthlly pay.

This is such a relief as we have been living off of my husband's SSDI for the past two years and found ourselves dipping more and more into the savings account.

Such a relief that I don't have to worry about this anymore.

I think I WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had my hearing for SSDI on June 11 and my lawyer says I won even though the judge didn't say anything. My lawyer believes this because the only questions the judge ask the voc rehab lady is 'is there a job that will allow me to take 8 breaks a day?' Of course she said no.

So now I wait for the official letter. But it sure sounds like I won. My RA is getting worst along with my OA and narcolepsy and...

Sigh.... They're Back!

I don't know what triggered them. Maybe it was going without Cymbalta for two days (I ran out). But my ice pick headaches came back! This time instead of attacking me in the temple, they stabbed me more in the right part of the back of my head!!! I took Imitrex and such hoping it'd make them go away permanently but didn't work.

I can't go to my neuro because I can't afford him anymore, no insurance. ...

Hired a good lawyer today, and he helped me with the paperwork and get ready for judicial hearing stage of my bid for SSDI. Then had an appt with my neurologist who is willing to fill out the form from my lawyer about my disabilities he takes care of. My doctor will also sign the forms that will help me get free Imitrex and Topamax. I just have to fill the forms and give it to him to sign. He is very...

Lost my appeal to my application denial on SSDI. They acknowledged my disabilities but still feel that an employer can accommodate my migraine issues and fibromyalgia issues and I can can continue to work as a computer operator. Well, I sure wish they would tell that to folks that I've applied for the 67 jobs to. I have had NO call backs from any of them. I've changed my resumes and...

So Tired of All This

sigh... kinda down today. I'm so tired. I have so much to do but I hurt too much and am too tired to do them. Hubby is away visiting his folks and seeing the family doc since none of the family docs up here will take his pain seriously. I stay up way too late... past midnight. Yet I need to get up at six. I try to do aqua aerobics 3xs a week. Plus I've been doing a Biogenesys on my back to get rid of the pain. I...

Creating Peace

PEACE: It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart. -- Anonymous

This is so true. Once you find the love inside of you, you stop being angry, you stop hating, you stop being jealous, you stop criticizing.

You become enlightened and automatically start loving everyone.

Hey! The gal who start the Fibromyalgia Aware magazine is over at Chronic Pain site here at healthcentral!!! I think that's great!!!

I know a lot of us have both diseases (and yes I think FM is a neurological disease).

Now I'll be bouncing back and forth. It's a shame I have to log in back and forth. That is a REAL pain!!!!
