I have suffered with migraines for 11 years now been to at least 30 doctores who all dismiss what I tell them and just say " your too young to have these kinds of problems"!!!
Well I am now up to ywo migraines a week and feel like I'm 80 does that count??? they last Doctor I went to because I had a 3 day migraine. When I woke up on the 4th day I could'nt hear anythign oout of both ears. Well, obviously that scared me so I made a Dr.'s appt for that day and went in right away. As usuall the Doctor does not listen to a word that I tell them, they ignore all of the history that I tell them, and this brillant Dr. gives me medication for ALLERGIES!!!!!!!!! She tells me that I am, having sinus headaches sue to allergies! I WISH all I had was a sinus headache. I laugh at sinus headaches! What I had was an all out "can not move,can not think, can't open my eye's, vomiting, pain so bad I would give my house to make it go away" migraine. Every time I go to the Dr.'s I leave the office crying because I feel like no one will listen to me. The give me perscriptions for when the migraines come ( Imitrex injections...nothing else has worked) but they dont try to get to the bottom of why I'm having these migraines. I am so fed up!!!
