Mexican Pharmacies
Jeffrey Hall
Monday, October 22, 2007 at 08:39 AMHave you ever considered looking in a Mexican Pharmacy? I hate to say it but it's a pretty common practice here in the Phoenix, AZ area for U.S. citizens to drive to Nogales, Sonora, Mexico and get their medications there to save money. (They even have groups of senior citizens who rent charter buses specifically for that purpose.)
I called my Wal-Mart pharmacist recently, because although the Imitrex seems to work well, my insurance will only cover 9 per month. (I am getting 6-10 headaches per month and sometimes have to take 2.) I couldn't believe that Imitrex cost $240 for NINE PILLS.
I may soon begin going south of the border myself to get my prescriptions filled. There are alot of scams, but there is also a presence of legitamate, reliable pharmacies who offer medications at considerably lower prices.
