About Me

I am 22 and have struggled with migraines for about 7 years. for the most part I was able to manage things with ease, never disrupting my life for more than a day or two. I was diagnosed with a 6mm pineal gland cyst in 03. Since then my migraines have increased,mostly over the past year. I was having mri's every 6 months for a few years but lost my insurance when i turned 19. I went several years without any scans. My vision severley decreased over this time. I just got insurance again(which is almost as bad as not being insured btw) and had my first mri since i was 18. Found out the bad news of how much growth there had been. Shortly after the mri developed a severe migraine which hasn't gone away since. I had to be hospitalized in the beginning of August 09 for 9 days. I went to see my eye dr and she sent me to the er because the blood vessels where extremely swollen and was concerned about the level of fluid on my brain. Since then things have been a nonstop battle, every day I feel worse than before. I am here for help, support, and somewhere to vent. any help anyone has to offer will always be appreciated.
