Why do I bother?

By Angst Tuesday, November 13, 2007
I've started physiotherapy treatments to try and help with my migraines and CDH. We're working mostly on my posture and relieving some tension in the trapezius muscles. I come out of there in so much pain and it remains for the next 2-3 days. I'm living on hot baths and Rub-A535. I've had to switch from using a purse to a backpack to help ease the back pain. I have seen no difference in my headache pattern except maybe that it has worsened. The only thing working for that is Axert but I have to use careful judgement on when to use it as I only have 6 per month. Yesterday, my physiotherapist told me that it seems that this may not help my headaches at all but that there was some tension there and that we would continue to work on that. I wonder though why I bother if it's not going to help the headaches. Why do I endure her manipulations that hurt so much that they almost bring me to tears? Why do I endure the extreme pain of the following days? What's the point?
What a pain in the head!!
