Neck pain and migraines

I have a disc problem c5-C6 and I had it fixed with Laser surgery. At first, it felt better. Now it's so painful. My neck hurts all the time. I'm planning on going back to the pain management doctor for facet injections. They helped a long time ago, when I got them. I just don't know what to do. It hurts when I wake up. I also have arthritis in my back from what the Ortho doc said from my MRI. and some Degenerated disc disease. Anyway, I'm...

sinus problems

I have had problems with my sinuses forever, it seems. I've had nose bleeds lately, and I know I've got a deviated septum and I'm planning on getting it fixed although it doesn't sound like fun at all! But, I know it will help me breathe so much better. Anyone else have this problem and good results? Did it help with your migraines at all?

Generic Depakote and Regular Depakote

Has anyone heard that the generic Depakote does not work as well as the regular Depakote? I've heard this and wondering if this is why I'm not getting results. I took regular Depakote for about 6 months and was taken off it, because I switched doctors. I felt it helped a little bit, and that was good for me, because I have migraines about every day.

More about migraines to the world

I think somehow, there needs to be more doctors and experts talking about migraines to the world. There's not much on the TV concerning Migraine disease. It's not even looked at as a disease that I see. I beleive people need to know, so they understand it's "not just a headache." I do have the article, "For those who don't get it." But, I think for families and everyone............it needs to be addressed more.
I mean I for one was treated like...

prevention meds

Okay, I'm beginning to think there is no medicine going to help with prevention. Besides, everything I try has side effects so bad, that it's like, I tried migraines for abdominal pain, and dizziness and not sleeping right. I just feel frustrated. Still hoping my new doc can help. he put me on Seroquel, and I didn't realize "nasal congestion" was a side-affect. Well, after 3 days, and nights, not breathing out my nose and taking zyrtec, and...

migraines and disability

I have been off work for 2 years now, over that, and waiting on a hearing date. I cannot work now. As of this time, I'm still trying to find a specialist to help me. My next appointment is in 2 days at a new specialist. The last one didn't impress me and didn't remember 2 months later, that "she" had taken me off certain medications, and was asking me why I stopped them.
Well, my question for anyone who is or has been where I am, what kind of...

My Christian Friends, don't understand???

Well, I've been battleing awhile with some friendships. You know the ones, where they say, "Oh, you just need to pray and not accept those migraines." or " You just don't have enough faith." Well, this happened to me, again, and I fianally blew my top. As I type this, I have a migraine. It's not the worst one, but I just took something, and it's kind of hard to concentrate. But.........I will say this, I had to put some people in their place,...

Neurologists ...what good are they?

Well, I know I need to look around for a new neurologist. In my area, I have a few new names. I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm tired of these "men" and nothing against men doctors, but they look at me like "OH WELL." So i go to the doctor on Wednesday, and he says well, "You have tried about everything, so, it looks like you are on a lot of medicine. Just make sure you take your muscle relaxers every day and night. Because you know tension...
