I don't know what is worse

By Amy Ramsey Sunday, May 27, 2007

Ok today has not been a good day. I have dealt with migraines since I was 13. They got severe as a result of my pregnancy. I have had a headache for 3 days. Just when I thought things would be better, we get hit with bad news. My Uncle, who I love very much, my hero, did not get a good health report. He has been fighting lung cancer for 2 years and they gave us the news that he may not make it more than a few hours. Now my head is KILLING me. I have never lost someone I love, not someone this close to me. He raised me and helped my mom take care of me when I had no father. Now I can't stop crying, and my children keep asking me whats wrong. My husband says you need to stop for the kids. I physically can't make myself. This makes my headache about a thousand times worse. He was so proud when he found out that I was going to nursing school. Now I have to face the fact that he won't even be able to be there. That absolutely kills me. I don't know how to go on acting like nothing is going wrong. Because It is ALL wrong. Things like this should not happen in a perfect world. You just watch the people you love; one minute you are there. They are standing tall, steady as an oak tree. Then in the blink of an eye, they're a delicate flower fading. Hoping the wind won't blow, wishing God could rain down miracles.I will keep praying for rain.

Whats A girl to do????

I'm sorry to hear about your uncle, that is very sad. I can't imagine what you must be going through. Crying can make your head feel worse, and I can understand you not being able to stop at sudden bad news about someone you love so dearly.
