About Me

My migraines started when I was about seventeen.  I knew what they were because my mother and her sister both suffer from them.  One of my sisters, one of my brothers and one of my daughters also suffer from migraines.  We all have very similar experiences with our headaches: auras, sensitivity to light, sound and smells, nausea, intense pain.  Mostly we've learned how to work around them, so far there hasn't really been much of an option, but we're always hoping for some answers and keep each other posted about new ideas, theories and medications.  Finding this web site gives me other avenues to explore and share.  Thanks for the opportunity.
