Tiffany. New symptoms should always be discussed with your doctor. Topamax can have tingling in limbs and fingers as a potential side effect. As we adjust to medication, these side effects may lessen.

When I took topamax a long time ago, I had a little tingling in my fingers, but that went away after a month or so.

Yes...I got bad tingling in my feet. It felt like they were falling asleep. I hope that is the only side effect that you experience. If the medication helps you then it is worth it. For me, the side effects (anxiety, depression...) weren't worth what little relief I got

YES!  I did feel tingling - almost burning - in my feet.  My sister felt it in her hands on Topomax.  It never went away - but lessened over time.  Topomax really helped me for a couple of years - alas, no more.  But I hope you have luck with it and the tingling is the only side effect you get - I've heard of some pretty icky ones - but none that were irreversable.  I like the advice you should talk to your MD about it though!

Yes.  I had terrible tingling in my hands and feet that was periodic throughout the day.  Didn't bother me though since the topomax was taking care of the migraines.  It only worked while I was building to the desired dose.  Once I reached the desired dose, the headaches came back just like before.  Then, I began having tremendous mood swings to the point of crying every night.  I got off the topomax and my headaches returned to their awful, but normal pattern--so did my mood.
