About Me

My migraines, I think, were initially triggered by the pill in the 70s. The doc. at the time did not see a connection, but when I stopped taking the pill, the migraines stopped as well. All was fine for a few years...but the migraines returned in full force in 1980. Now, some 29 years later, and menopausal, they are not as intense, but nonetheless still there. Aside from homones, thre are other triggers, such as certain scents, high blood pressure, and low blood sugars, and atmospheric pressure. I teach, we have 2 grown children, one grand child....and a cat. I love....my family, reading, music (classical, Celtic, French...luv bagpipes, harp, violin...), singing, gardening, art(my first carreer), skiing, hiking, stained glass, entertaining....did I say reading, and cats!
