Hello all, in the midst of trying to navigate a migraine that has gone on too long, I thought I would tell you that I am going in for an endoscopy on Monday. My gastro doc felt it was pretty urgent. So what does this have to do with migraine?  It limits my drugs for pain especially my shots of toradol as you can't have NSAIDS before this prodecure. So muddling through the pain. Then you go into the procedure without water or food for several hours - triggers as well.  It's all so synergistic and not in a good way.  It points out how our migraine disease affects so many things medically.  I remember last time, as they were preparing me - I told them to dim the lights because I went into my last endoscopy with a migraine.  The nurse was nice and dimmed the lights.

But for all of us in pain - and I'm dealing with a very stubborn migraine (for the past several days worsened by allergies) Easter is a time of rebirth when the love of this time and the holiday can hopefully transcend our pain with hope.  I wish everyone a Happy Easter -

All the best -

Ian
