Hello everyone, I know it's been a long time - I want to apologize for not being more in touch.  I was in the hospital in the beginning of July as things went out of control again - I had several days of decadron, DHE45 and dialaudid and it just took a lot out of me.  I am just now getting back to my regular schedule and because the owner of the building where my studio was put the building up for sale I had to move my studio quickly and after working so long to get the other landlords to put up track lighting for me I found a nice new studio but it has - yep you guessed it - flourescent lighting. So here we go again. Sure enough six to eight hours in the room last thurs triggered a monster so I am not quite sure how to deal with it, I can't really approach the new landlord right now and because of my migraines I am only teaching two days a week - I would hate to think of both those days as trigger days - that's awful for me to think that my teaching will always be migraine days. I was lucky to find an available studio close to my other one but everyone the: "flicker" is back. It's a larger room so I don't think a series of lamps would work.

Sigh - hugs to everyone fighting the pain and other symptoms of migraines from migraineville AZ-

Hey there,

What about some type of sun glasses to help with it? Here is info on it, I hope it helps: Good Sunglasses - Vital for Migraine and Eye Health.  There are some rose colored glassed around someplace, I can't for the life of me find them right now. Maybe those would help?? Just throwing thoughts out there for you.

Hang in there sweetie.

Hi Ian,

I am new to this site and just wanted to let you know that I truly appreciate your postings. (I just went back to read all of your posts in the past few years.) I have been dealing with migraines for a while, but my status state hit in May '09. Reading about others who are truly familiar with your agony allows you to feel a tad bit more normal.  A few years ago you questioned if others were truly reading or needing your posts, etc. Although I may be a few years too late, I want to say "Thank You"!
