OCT. 20TH JUST CAME BACK FROM DR AND THEY WANT TO USE ME LIKE A PIN CUSHION
WITH ALL THESE TESTS. EACH MONTH A NEW MED. MORE BLOOD TESTS. WHEN WILL IT
EVER STOP? EACH DAY YOU WAKE UP YOU PRAY TO GOD TO GIVE YOU A GOOD DAY. BUT
THE LITTLEST THING HAPPENS AND THE WORLD FEELS LIKE IT IS CLOSING IN ON YOU.
YOU TELL YOURSELF I WON'T LET THIS GET TO ME YEH! RIGHT. I AM SO GLAD WE HAVE
MIGRAINE CONNECTION TO RELEASE AND LET GO. AND TO KNOW WE ARE NOT ALONE.

Hello, and welcome to MyMigraineConnection.com!
Would you do me a favor please? When you post again, please use lower case letter too, not all just upper case, ok? Thanks, that would be great.
Unfortunately, it may feel like we are a pin cushion at times, because to find the right treatment plan takes a while for some of us. Part of the problem here may be trying new medications each month. It can take up to three months for our body to adjust to new medication and we see a reduction in our Migraine severity and frequency. I know that is a long time, but if we don't give the drug a fair trial, we'll never know if it works. Does that make sense?
And if your doctor isn't able to help you, it may well be time to consult a Migraine and headache specialist. It's important to note that neurologists aren't necessarily Migraine and headache specialists. Take a look at the article Migraine and Headache Specialists - What's So Special? If you need help finding a Migraine specialist, check our listing of Patient Recommended Migraine and Headache Specialists.
