I have been on Ergonovine for a couple of years. Realized it's not really helping my migraines much. So, my neurologist is going to get me off them and start me on NEURONTIN! The problem is I can't get off Ergonovine. I take it 3 times a day. Now, I'm trying to reduce it down to twice a day for a week, then 1 pill a day for a week..etc...I have been on 2 pills of ergonovine for 4 days...I've had rebound headaches since then. If I take the 3rd pill at night..my headache goes away. So, I know this is a rebound. I've had the same rebound issue with relpax.

So, does anyone have experience with this? I have migraine problem as it is. I don't need daily rebound headaches. Please let me know if anyone has experienced the same problem. Thank you. Cry
