Pacing the aura

By Marcelle C Thursday, March 12, 2009

Pacing the Aura

And. So.

The quality of light shifts

imperceptibly. There in the centre

is the break and the clock

on its rounds starts to

churn faster.

And so the fracture

shows, and where calm lived

is now maniacal, kaleidoscoped.

The poets would write of this and artists

render this break, but not if they knew what

comes next.

And so the fracture knits

and the belly locks and

the clock on its rounds speeds

and churns. Under the skull

Blood aches.
