    Hello, and welcome to MyMigraineConnection.com!

Hemiplegic Migraine (HM) is a rare form of Migraine disease. A genetic neurologic condition that currently does not have a cure. There are two sub-types of HM: Familiar Hemiplegic Migraine (FHM) and Sporadic Hemiplegic Migraine

(SHM). Hemiplegic Migraine - The Basics has great information on this condition. You may also find this link: Hemiplegic Migraine - Genetic Testing May Be Help useful.

Taking fioricet everyday can create another type of headache called Medication Overuse Headache. This happens when certain OTC and prescription medications are taken more than 2-3 days a week.  Medication Overuse Headache - When the Remedy Backfires has this information in detail.

I'm not familiar with the Kirchner diet or any natural therapies for HM, but do know it is important to have HM under control. The best doctor to treat this condition is a Migraine specialist and we have a list of patient recommended specialists you can see by clicking HERE.
