Finally free from headaches!

By headachesurvivor Friday, October 12, 2007

After suffering from a gripping one-sided headache for over a year (and being mis-diagnosed with migraines, paroxsysmal hemicrania, depression and more) I finally found relief through physical therapy.

My headaches were caused from a few of the vertebrae in my neck which were locked and pinching the nerves and blood flow to my head and giving me the headache. After a lot of pain, heartache, medication, side-effects, lost productivity, and even suicidal thoughts, the simplest form of treatment got rid of the headaches and gave me my life back. Please consider investigating this through a simple physical examination of your neck and shoulders. I hope this info helps someone out there!

I am glad you wrote this. I always mention the shoulder/neck pain to my neurologist when I go and he says nothing. I asked one physician for an xray and she said I didn't need one. I have had 4 whiplash incidents and the most recent in April to my lower spine(?). I am going to head your advice and go ahead and get  PT and a new neurologist.
