About Me

I am a 41year old female who began having menstrual migraines at age 35. What fun! Also, found out I have endometriosis around the same time. Obviously, I am truly blessed to have 3 children. My migraines are becoming more frequent and last about 4 days. I miss alot of work and it tends to hurt more when I lay down(the crushing pain really gets even worse, so when they (nuerologists) tell me to go lay down I can't or Iam really scared because then sometimes the pain is so bad I have to go to the emergency room. Which I will no longer go to because they treat me like I not telling the truth. They flash a light in my eyes and ask if it hurts. Also, I have tried at least 8 different triptans and unfortunaley they don't touch it. Strong narcotics seem to help but the doctors do not prescribe for THAT kind of pain. Feel like it really is all in my head and their is no one to help. To me there is no other pain quite like this. I rather go through labor over and over again(which lasted about 48 hours with my first-all three of my children weighed around 9.5). Ithought that pain was horrible until I had my first migraine. Is there really help out there?
