Hi Everyone
I am new to the site and just thought that I would introduce myself. This year is my 25th "Anniversary" of having Migraines. It has been a long road and as the saying goes, "Good or bad, we always learn something from the experience" and I can certainly agree with that statement. I have tried 18 drugs before I ever was able to get into our local Pain Clinic, but since I have been with these Specialists, things have gotten alot better. I used to have two or three Migraines a week and now I can honestly say that I have one about every three weeks. Their duration has changed for the better as well. I am still taking some pretty strong medications, but at least now I can say that I am really being helped and things are looking up!!!

Thank you for the warm welcome. It is my first time joining any site about Migraines even though I have been having them for 25 years. My question to you is how come the "Moderators" take out specific information a person gives about naming Medications that work? In my intro, I named specifically a drug that is finally working for me. That drug name was taken out of my into. Are we not trying to help each other and I was just trying to name something that works for me. I am not pushing the drug or the drug company, I just wanted to try and help and I would hope that others would do the same. Are we always at the scrutiny of the Moderators even what I am saying to you right now? Thanks for the welcome wagon and being new and nervous, you make it easy to come to the site.
