PFO Study - 7 Months Later

By Leeloo Wednesday, March 26, 2008

Luckily, my OB and migraine specialist decided it was OK for me to go back on the combo pill--the risk of stroke negligible to the risk I was taking for 2 weeks every month on the progestin.  Before progestin, my hormonal migraines were predictable and treatable, and my period was definitely shorter.  I don't think I've ever been so excited to pick up a medication in my life.

Migraines notwithstanding, I almost feel like myself again.
