can anyone help me

By Michelle Sunday, November 18, 2007

Does anyone know how I can find a migraine specialist who deals specifically with hemiplegic migraines?

I have a referral (supposedly) to the migraine specialist here in Nashville from my neurologist but he called her office last Wednesday and her office was supposed to contact me and they have yet to do so.  Her webpage says nothing about working with hemiplegic migraines.  I have tried doing google searches but haven't gotten anywhere.  The only one I found was the Mayo clinic in Minnesota and they will not take my case because it is part of a motor vehicle accident with litigation involved and "they don't do that".

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am running out of time.  I will no longer have any health insurance at the end of February.

Thanks

Michelle

I would continue to call the specialists office. In the mean time these two doctors are listed on our Patient Recommended Migraine and Headache Specialists list: Dr.Constance Johnson in Clarksville, TN and Eugene E. McKenzie Memphis, TN.

Don't give up, there is a specialist out there. Have you seen this link on Hemiplegic Migraine?
