i think even the 25mg of topamax is working. i feel pretty good when i get up in the morning. by 3pm tho, i'm wasted, totally zonked. and i'm pretty stupid. i really can't think clearly. topamax? maybe. maybe it's just a side effect of having all these headaches lately.

i called over to the doc yesterday and told them the baclofen just wasn't cutting it. i spent the weekend in bed either with a headache or with a side effect of the meds. but on saturday, spent the evening praying to the porcelain god -- i got so sick to my stomach. then the headache, OMG. and since they're trying to stop the rebounds, i had nothing but baclofen and i thought i was going to die. my stepdaughter (age 9) found me laying in the bathroom (hey, it was dark and cool) and said, "uhhhh. devgurl, it's time to watch the movie" then bounced away. 30 minutes later she apparently decided that maybe she ought to tell her dad that i was practically passed out. kids... what're ya gonna do with em.

then i get this nasty pain in my back and arms. i mean a deep pain that i've had before and i know from experience that NOTHING will touch -- not advil, tylenol, celebrex, vicodin, oxycodone, nothing. all i can do is moan. i've been to docs in the past and no one can figure it out. so i call the headache doc on monday thinking maybe it's related to migraine. it's not, but they recognize the symptom and so i'm going in for nerve conduction studies tomorrow. that sounds like a joy. if they can figure something out, i'll be happy.
