Guess what team! I have moved and I needed to get a new pain managment docotor for my migraines. My first concern was another doctor who will try to change all the work the other doctors have done and it won't work. WRONG! He did a different method of pain control. He allowed me to keep my script for Diludid, but he did burning of the nerve in my neck with radio frequency waves. He could only do one nerve at a time (which is fine with me, not the most comfortable procedure). My last treatment was on July 3rd, and I have been migraine free for the last two weeks! Now he did say it can take up to three weeks before I saw a difference, but if it works it would last 6 months. Can you imagine 6 months without a migraine!!! 6 months! How could I not be excited. I do have one admit though, I had a minor headache on Monday of this week. But I was able to treat it withTylenol, not the Diludid. I have been on cloud nine since I got relief. I don't know if this will work for everyone, but I am a suffer who was having migraines that lasted anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months without a break in the pain levels. I just learned to live with them, my kids learned to live with them, and my husband had to deal with me. Its not fair to them. I'm so glad I went throguh the procedures to get where I am today. I hope this helps those of you who have the same issues. Let me know if you want to learn more about it. Good luck everyone! 6 months of relief, WOW!

It's great to hear from you, Lisa. Thanks for updating us on how you are feeling. I will keep my fingers crossed for you that your pain stays away!!
Thank you! I think this is going to work. I'm okay if it is only for 6 months. Its 6 months I didn't have before. It will also help me get away from the medications. I'm stepping down on the depakot and the nuraton. Unfortunitly, I am still on the steriods (only 5mg now), Pred Forte 1% eye drops, Humara, HCTZ, nexium, and Vit D. But I'm getting rid of the two heavy hitters and the Diludid with this procedure! And we think the change in location (we moved to Hawaii) has something to do with it too!
Who wouldn't feel better in Hawaii!! Wow, that's a nice move!! Keep me posted on how you're doing, ok?
