Eye doctor tomorrow!

Eileen Gray Health Guide
  • Tomorrow I go to the eye doctor. I have not been in about a year and a half. It's time. I made the appointment after a bad migraine where I did not know the trigger. It was brought up that maybe there was a connection. I always thought my eyes should be worse then they actually are, not by vision standard, but because of the intense pain and pressure I get during a migraine. I will see what the doctor says tomorrow.

I have noticed some changes in my migraines. I'm not exactly sure if they are definatly changes, or if it's just because I'm paying more attention to it now. I'm keeping a headache journal for the next month till I go back to my neurologist.

More then half my migraines have no trigger, aura and tinnitus. All my "no trigger found" migraines I have tinnitus. I also have it sometimes when I don't have a migraine. I always have popping in my ears. I'm still not sure if I can say for a fact if the abortives I take during non-trigger migraines have worked. The last one I had, the head pain was gone - but I continued to get sick for 6 hours.....

When I see the doctor tomorrow I am going to have the regular check up with a full vision field test. I am also going to have her check for papilledema. This is my first step before the Neuro when I bring up my questions on an LP. I'm sure that will go over well. I'm on the fence with my neuro anyway so if she doesn't give me the answers I deserve/need - I will kindly ask for a copy of my medical records and be on my way. I have been thinking of seeing a headache specialist anyway.
