About Me

I work full time for a hospital based radiology group. Medical billing - Oh the joy of insurance companies! I also help out my husband at a local animal shelter on the weekends! I have 5 (yeah, 5!) cats of my own, Minnie the Moocher, Madeline Albright, Tiger, Darwin and Chloe O'Brian. The first two I inherited by marraige! And as most of you know, I am also a forum host right here on Mymigraineconnection!

I loved the series Queer as Folk - it was my favorite. My favorite actor is Gale Harold (I know none of you will know who he is, but he was most recently in the cancelled FOX show Vanished). I love broadway. Wicked and Rent are amazing!!!!!!  I love to read and also I'm quite the movie buff. I love cheese. It has to be my favorite food. I love my job most of the time, and hate it sometimes. I wish I had more time to really get out there and LIVE! I wish I could have more money do to what I wanted to. Not be filthy rich though, just be able to live and not worry about it.  I am trying to find the time to travel a little more. I would love to go to Ireland (you wouldn't think right! LOL), Japan and China. I would also like to see Italy and Spain. Oh heck, I'll go pretty much anywhere! I'm a horrible speller. I can cook and bake. I went to culinary school. I never finish anything I start, and I hate that about myself. The only thing I can start and finish is a movie or a book! I am completly random in my life and thoughts. I love to write it down as it comes to me and not correct it. I have few close friends, but they are the best a person can have. It's all about quality not quantity. I am a Gemini through and through. I am indecisive and like to over analize everything.

I recently married the love of my life on 7/4/07. My husband is 4 years younger then me, and ironically is the first person I've ever dated that is younger then me. I knew the moment we got together that he was the man I would marry. We dated for a very short time, 11 months, before getting married. And before that, hold on to your hats, we bought a house together after being together for only 2 1/2! It was just one of those ment to be things! He works for SeaBreeze - they make all sorts of good stuff. They are the makers of Bosco chocolate syrup! So I bet you can guess what everyone gets for the holidays!!!

We love to play video games, watch movies, play with our cats, go to the city, and just hang out.

 As far as me and Migraine disease: I'm currently on 75mgs. of Topamax (25mgs a.m and 50 mgs p.m.) and Frova to abort. I recenly found relief in muscle relaxers. I've tried Zomig to abort but found it worked but had too many side effects for my liking. I also take Melatonin some nights when I'm feeling a whopper coming on. I suffer from TTH which also are possible triggers for my  Migraine with and without Aura.
