Every year I put the max allowance into my FSA account of my insurance plan to help cover the cost of my medication. Every year I run out in June. Cigna (my insurance provider) seems to think that I should be able to just swap all my medications for generics so this doesn't happen. I guess they don't realize that many migraine meds are not available in generics. I have a high-deductible plan and now my monthly out-of-pocket expenses have risen to over $500 a month...which I can no longer afford. Can anyone help me with information that may help pay for my medication? I try to get free samples whenever I am at the doctor, but only certain companys give samples away and I can't rely on this. I don't know what to do!
