This may seem like a silly question but I haven't quite been able to figure it out.A lot of the SharePosts and the stuff I've read in the forums sound about the same.So are there specific items for which it's better to use the forums instead of the SharePosts or viseversa?  Any offic...

I'm not really "official," but I can tell you how I use both of these resources!

The shareposts are kinda like blogging.  I use them to keep a personal diary.  When I write a sharepost, I'm not ABSOLUTELY in need of other members' input (although I love it when people comment!!).  I'm just writing to put my own feelings down online.  Maybe someone else will find them interesting!

The forum is more for chatting with others, looking for answers to questions, giving each other support to get through rough times.  It's more interactive there and you nearly always get helpful input from the members about your post!  I would definitely use the forum if I had a question, concern, or if I was having a really lousy day and needed some hugs!

    Hope this helps!!

It is not a silly question at all!

Jenny is absolutley correct. SharePosts are areas where you can write, or blog about anything you like. As Jenny said, some people use this area to express themselves, others to offer advice, other to introduce themselves.

The forums, (you have to re-register, but can use the same username and password) are areas broken down by topic where you can have longer conversations, get support from others, and get your questions answered by experts, moderators, and of course other members who are well versed in Migraine disease. We have the most educated Migraineurs out there!

    Does that help a bit?

On this web site, the only silly or stupid question is the one you didn't ask.
