This may seem like a silly question but I haven't quite been able to figure it out.

A lot of the SharePosts and the stuff I've read in the forums sound about the same.

So are there specific items for which it's better to use the forums instead of the SharePosts or viseversa? Any official guidelines?

It's also not particularly important I was just curious since I am spending a lot of time here lately.
