SharePost vs. Forums

This may seem like a silly question but I haven't quite been able to figure it out.A lot of the SharePosts and the stuff I've read in the forums sound about the same.So are there specific items for which it's better to use the forums instead of the SharePosts or viseversa? Any official guidelines? It's also not particularly important I was just curious since I am spending a lot of time here lately.

Why do some doctors treat you like you're crazy?

Right now I'm waiting to get in to see a specialist...so all I've got is a new GP. My last GP closed her practice recently and unfortunately I don't even have a copy of my records from her office yet. My last GP and I had been struggling for months to find a preventative that works where the side effects aren't completely horrendus. I'm currently waiting on the newest one to kick in, and so I have a...

New Type of Migraine. HELP!

For the past 3 days I have had non-stop double vision and ear ringing. Along with this, on and off, I have extreme dizziness, migraine-like pain in the back of my head (on both sides), and nausea. I was in the hospital over the weekend and they ran me through a battery of tests (MRI, CTScan, blood work) all of which showed nothing. I had an eye exam last week and there were no problems there. This is starting to sound to me...

what foods are safe?

I want to try for a week or two eating only foods that do not contain any triggers. I've never had a food trigger before and I want to try to eliminate that as a possible cause for my increased headaches. So I need some meals that do not contain any of the listed triggers and I can't find anything I make that doesn't contain at least one of them. A lot of the posts I've seen have meals that are minus some...

I don't remember what hope feels like

This is my first post and I feel kinda bad that it is going to be as sad as it is but there's no helping that. I was diagnosed with migraines at 16. They put me on amitriptyline and that seemed to work pretty well. Although I gained over 50 pounds no matter what I ate or how many athletic activities there were in my life, I only had 1-2 headaches a month. I was 23 when the amitriptyline stopped working last March. ...
