OK, so with all of the recommendations for this Anodyne Clinic, I called them yesterday. I left a message with some kid named Tommy, he said someone will call you back today. No phone call, so I wait until this afternoon, around 3pm, same kid, asks me to hold on that he will have "someone" talk to me. Finally he gets back on the phone and says "she" is on the other line but will call me back today "for sure". It's 6pm...no call, I have had a headache for 3 days now.
Does anyone have a recommendation that I can actually get through to for an appointment?

How very bizzare sounding. I don't think I've ever heard of something like that from any doctor's office, no matter the size. One of your best ways through this site to find out more about other doctors and ways of dealing with this is through the forums area. They are more of an interactive blog. There is a specific one for Doctors and Clinics. You will need to register separately for them. From the Home page click on the Manage drop down and you'll see the Migraine Forums. From there if you click on Login/Join you can do that quickly and then begin to participate.
Ali I think you indicated you are a nurse. Is your pain and the length of the migraine such that you should be in the ER getting more acute care for it? Could the ER assist in refering you to the Clinic for follow up and speed up the process I wonder?

Thanks for your post, you are so sweet. I am a nurse, but I hate to go to the ER, the lights are a nightmare, and waiting is horrible, etc... (I have gone twice in 20+ years), I usually just suffer it out. Plus I am on my way to work Day 4 of this monster.

Ali for migraines I've gone once. I called my doctor to see if it was really necessary when I had was developing appendicitis!! My kids know I'd rather do anything than go to the ER. But your situation is much more acute.
I'm glad to see Teri made a post. I had thought this was her doctor also. I do hope you get through. Otherwise, I would checkout the forums this weekend.
