Anybody heard of having a painless migraine that causes terrible vision loss that lasts a couple of weeks and slowly comes back completely?
Thats what the neurologist tells me happened! Oh ya, MRI and all that done to rule out stroke, etc....................................
Thanks

Acephalgic or Silent Migraine is just that, a Migraine attack without the headache phase. I'm not sure what you mean by "vision loss that lasts a couple of weeks and slowly comes back completely?" During the arua phase of a Migraine attack it is not uncommon to have flashing lights, wavy vision or blurred vision. Have you had your eyes examined by an eye doctor? That may be a place to start. Also this article, Anatomy of Migraine, discusses the four phases of a Migraine attack and is quite helpful.
