Last month I had lost one of my contacts and 2 weeks later the other one ripped in half. Of course this happened after I had paid all my bills and spent my whole check for the month. So I go through the whole month of February blind. A friend came over a few times to escort me to the store or just to get me out of the house. Another friend had just gotten out of the hospital with pneumonia, and I could not go visit her. Couldn't see to get over there. It was truly a miserable month. Now I finally get paid again and go to the eye doctor last Saturday for an exam, and get a migraine the day before. The doctor at least decided to wait until later to dilate my eyes. Thankful for that, but shining all those lights in my eyes was killing me. I had informed him I had a migraine and he insists something is wrong with my eyes because I shouldn't "be so sensitive to light". Excuse me! I have a migraine! My eye is already feeling like it is going to pop out of my head. The light is making it worse! You know what? I will come back when the headache is gone, thankyou. Got my trial pair of contacts, it is the most fabulous day, I can see again. It is the worst day I have a migraine and I don't want to see now!
