migraine in my brain

can you share my pain?

day in and day out

my head flails about

they say constrict your vein

cafergot,feverfew, I take them in vain

come & see me hold my head

somedays I wish I were dead

all because of pain

I read in all the magazines

the problem's really in my genes

I turn around to ask my mom

but she tells me she can't come

all because of pain

I said lets take the feverfew

one for me and one for you

it seems to be our fate

a day goes by & then the night

like this we suffer & we fight

a disease we all hate

that's all for now, I have to go

does Maxalt work, I don't know

but surely I will try

if my migraine doesn't go

then surely I will die

so wish me luck & pray for me

as I begin to cry

Oh dear God, when will we see

the day that we can fly

free of pain with no effects

of drug or vitamin

finally we will enjoy

the day the cure is in.
