    Sometimes I have a sharp pain on my temple. Sometimes, it happensseveral times in one day. Sometimes it does not happen for months. Do you knowwhat this is? Do I need to see my doctor? Thank you, Sarah.

    There are any number of things this could be. Some of themare harmless, some require medical care. Yes, you need to see your doctor andget it checked out. One possibility is ice pick headaches.
