Do you have questions about headaches or Migraines? Many of our readers do, and each week, and Dr. John Claude Krusz and Teri Robert answer some of them. 7/30/07 10:35pm

Thank you for making yourself available to this forum. My husband has tried the following meds for his migraines, so far without success: migranol, zomig, imitrex and topamax. He is 37, healthy but with athsma since childhood, and is on an the antidepressant lexipro. Would you please advise us as to any new meds that he should bring to our doctor's attention? We are really concerned.

Thanks again.

I'm sorry, but there is just no way that Dr. Krusz and I can answer everyone's questions individually. There are too many questions to answer each one through these personal messages. So, we ask that they be submitted through an online form to be answered in the order in which they're submitted. We publish questions and answers once a week in our Ask the Clinician column. You can submit this question through THIS FORM. Given the number of questions we receive, it will be a few weeks before it's answered.

If you can't wait for your question to be answered in our Ask the Clinician Column, please join our discussion forum and ask it there. To get to the forum, just look for the orange box marked "Manage" and click on the Migraine Forums link. Because our forums are maintained by a third party, you'll need to register for the forum. You can use the same information you used to create your community log-in if you like. If you want to go directly to the forum, you can click HERE.

Thanks!

Dear Dr. Roberts,

Thank you, but this should be made much clearer. It doesn't say that there is a form to be submitted when I was directed to your clinician q and a page, and the hyperlink that you provided (i.e., THIS FORM [sic]) doesn't work when clicked upon. So, in the interest off clarity, I'd put somewhere in the website that a form should be used and a current hyperlink. Just a thought :) Thanks for the service that you and Dr. Krusz are providing.

I do apologize for the link not working. We've been having some technical issues with that. Let me try again. Please use THIS FORM. As soon as this posts, I'll check the link.

As for making it clearer that questions must be submitted via the form, I don't know how to make it any clearer. On every question and answer page, there's a section, About Ask the Clinician. In that section, it says:

"Dr. Krusz is a recognized expert in the fields of headache and migraine treatment and pain treatment. Each week, he and Lead Expert Teri Robert, team up to answer your questions about headaches and Migraines. You can read more about Dr. Krusz or more about Teri Robert. If you have a question for this section of our site, please click HERE. Accepted questions will be answered by publishing the answers here. No questions will be answered privately..."

Since that's on every Ask the Clinician page, I don't know what more to do to make it clear. As one of our readers, please, if you have suggestions for making it clearer, share them with me. Certainly, we want to make this process as easy as possible for everyone.

Thanks,

Teri
