I am trying to figure out the trigger for my last whopper migraine. Have you ever heard of High Definition TV as a possible trigger? Thanks, Rhoda.
There are a number of ways in which television, including and perhaps especially high definition television, could trigger Migraines. For some people, fact action scenes with lots of twists and turns can trigger a Migraine or cause motion sickness. Scenes with lot of flickering lights can also be a trigger as can scenes that are very bright with high contrast. Depending on what it is that's causing the television to be a trigger for you, adjusting the brightness and contrast may help reduce the problem.
