Thank you very much for your answer, it is well appreciated. I had an MRI a few months back and expect the rseults next month. I was wondering if altered intercranial pressure is in fact an issue, if it would be visible on the MRI?

Is it safe to assume you mean intracranial pressure? No, it is not always visible on an MRI. The only truly definitive test for intracranial pressure/intracranial hypertension is a lumbar puncture (spinal tap). Some doctors think it's detectable via an eye exam looking for papilledema, but that's not always present.
