Hi there my name is William I've been suffering from really bad headaches over the last 3months. It seems to be all over my head with pain and it was only yesterday that some off my friends noticed my right eye was really blood shot. The pain is so severe I'm taking a serious amount off pain relief to cope and scared to visit my GP for answers. I'm getting a headache almost everyday and last up to hours with the pain. William
Although we can understand fear of doctors, it's far past time for you to get off your computer and call your doctor for an appointment.
It's impossible for anyone to diagnose your headaches without reviewing your medical history, discussing your symptoms with you, and examining you - in person. Unexplained headaches should always be checked out. Most of the time, headaches aren't dangerous, but there are times when they're a symptom of something serious that needs treatment.
Taking pain relief medications can be making your headaches worse by causing medication overuse headaches. See Medication Overuse Headache: When the Remedy Backfires for more information on these headaches.
Please, be safe and take care of yourself by seeing your doctor.
