According to information about the clinical trials of Topamax for Migraine prevention published in the prescribing information for Topamax, tinnitus (ringing of the ears) occurred:
- with placebo: in 1% of patients
- at 50mg/day: less than 1% of patients
- at 100mg/day: in 1% of patients
- at 200mg/day: in 2% of patients
