Call it what you will, but my only explaination is that it's horrible. I started having seizures around New Years 2010. My husband took me to the hospital here in Elkhart, Indiana, where after numerous tests, I was diagnosed with MS. I started having steroid treatments and the seizures got worse. I was just ready to start on the MS injections, when my husband took me down to the teaching hospital in Indianapolis and after running through the same series of tests, the Dr. there overturned the MS diagnosis (thank God) and I was told that the seizures were brought on by migrains caused by menopause. I weened myself off of the anti seizure meds because I hated the way that they made me feel. I still have seizures, but not as bad. The whole feeling before, during and after is terrible, but at least it's not MS! Please, please....anyone who reads this, GO GET A SECOND OPINION! I'm a firm believer and living proof!
