I do not want to give you a grim picture, but I am 73 yrs. old and I also started with migraines after the birth of my daughter who is now 49 yrs. old. I also had an epidural which did not numb the right side of my body and I had pounding pains in my neck during the epidural. My migraines are on the right side and I have been to neurologist, pain management clinic, my primary care doctor and I still have debilitating headaches almost weekly sometimes lasting 7 - 10 days. Many preventives cause a rise in the pressure of my right eye where I have glaucoma. At present I am taking Relpax and Percocet and going to bed in a dark room. I pray that you may find some answers and not have to suffer as I have for so many yrs, but hang in there as I have you too will survive.
